Governance
Leera Schools believes that students should have ownership of their learning, as well as in developing the school in terms of policies, procedures, and activities. Therefore, student voice and input is critically important to the Mission of Leera Schools.
Governance through Elections
Students are eligible to participate in school governance if they maintain good academic performance and behaviour.Those who are unable to meet these expectations may have their participation suspended or may be removed from their position. Students selected as class representatives fill in the Student Government Election Forms, indicating the position they wish to hold. These roles are then voted on through the student elections.
